How do I turn on my license?
Add SweepScope to a chart, type your email in the window that opens and click Activate. We email you a key. Copy the key into the Serial Key box and click Activate again.
What is StructureScope?
It's the second indicator that comes with SweepScope, so it shows up in your indicator list too. Before version 1.00.1 it was listed as SweepScope Structure. SweepScope works on its own. Add StructureScope too if you want the swing labels and the trend shade.
Can I use SweepScope inside my own strategy or another indicator?
Yes. Add it to a chart once first. That's where SweepScope asks for your email, and then for the key we email you. After that it also works inside strategies, other indicators and the Market Analyzer.
When does my trial start?
When you start it on the store. If you are new to SweepScope, your 7 day free trial begins at checkout, and your first charge is 7 days later. The product page shows that date before you start. Turning on SweepScope in NinjaTrader does not change it.
During the trial, the SweepScope Registration window says You have activated the license: trial.
I closed the window and got Invalid License. What now?
SweepScope does not load until the license is turned on. Reload the chart (F5) to open the SweepScope Registration window again.
Which plots can a strategy read?
LongSweepSignal and ShortSweepSignal. They hold the bar's low or high on a sweep or reclaim bar. See Plots.
Do I need Order Flow+?
No. Order Flow+ is needed for one setting, Require Delta Confirmation, which is off by default. Without Order Flow+, SweepScope turns that setting off and writes one line to the log.
Why are there no prior day, overnight or opening range lines on my chart?
The key levels need an intraday chart. On minute and second charts, the bars must end on the regular session open and close, for example 1, 5, 15 or 30 minutes. A chart that loads in the middle of a session also draws no level from the part it did not see from the start. SweepScope writes a line in the NinjaScript Output window when the bar size turns the levels off.
Which template should I start with?
ES 1 minute for a 1 minute ES chart, ES 5 minute for a 5 minute chart, and Clean key levels for a quieter chart with the key level lines and the sweep triangles. See Getting Started.
How do I update SweepScope?
Download the new version from your dashboard, import it with Tools → Import → NinjaScript Add-On..., answer Yes when NinjaTrader asks to replace files, and restart NinjaTrader.
Do alerts fire on old bars?
No. Alerts fire on live bars, and they are off until you turn on Sweep Alerts.
