The WiSE (Wizdough Second Entry) Indicator identifies more than 16 price action signals for NinjaTrader 8 — second entries, higher lows, lower highs, and failed second entries (traps). This guide takes you from download to a working chart.
Requirements
WiSE runs on NinjaTrader 8. You'll need it installed before you begin.
Install or update
- Download the WiSE Indicator from your dashboard or the product page
- In NinjaTrader's Control Center, open Tools → Import → NinjaScript Add-On... (NinjaTrader add-on installation guide)
- Select the downloaded
.zipfile. When updating, NinjaTrader asks whether to replace the existing files (WiSE,WiLicensor, the WiSE templates and sounds). Answer Yes every time. You do not need to remove the old version first. - Restart NinjaTrader when it asks you to. The new version loads only after the restart.
The first time WiSE opens on a chart it asks for your email to activate the license or start a trial.
To uninstall, go to Tools → Remove NinjaScript Assembly.
Add WiSE to a chart

Start from a template
WiSE ships with preinstalled templates — the fastest way to a sensible setup:
- Full control — maximum signals with all history. Too crowded for daily use, but great for learning how signals form.
- Minimalist — shows how just the most important information can be displayed.
- Radio — listen to what's happening on the chart.
- Reduced noise; PT16 — a balanced amount of signals, adapted for NQ with a 16-tick profit target.
- Swings — shows all swings.
Recommended setup
Although WiSE works with any bar type and timeframe, it is particularly popular and optimized for:
- Chart: ES 2000-tick
- EMA period: 21
